Find answers to common questions about assigning schedules and using schedule slots.
Can a task use more than one schedule?
No. A task uses one effective schedule at a time.
The schedule can be set directly on the task or inherited from its list or folder. A directly selected schedule takes priority over an inherited schedule.
Can several folders or lists use the same schedule?
Yes. You can assign the same schedule to any number of folders, lists, or individual tasks.
For example, separate Client work and Administration lists can both use the Work hours schedule.
Can one schedule have several slots?
Yes. A schedule can have multiple one-time and repeating slots.
The slots can use different days, times, timezones, and repeat rules. For example, the same Work hours schedule can have morning and afternoon slots.
