Moving to a new computer

Installing the app on another computer gives you a new, empty local database. Tasks, events, schedules, and settings from the old computer are not transferred automatically.

Set up the new computer

1. Install Nodify Calendar on the new computer.
2. Sign in to your Nodify account.
3. Generate a new activation code.
4. Activate Nodify Calendar.
5. Recreate the calendars, tasks, events, and schedules you need.

If all three activation slots are already in use, open Activations in your Nodify account and deactivate the old computer before activating the new one.

Deactivating a device frees a license slot but does not delete or transfer the calendar data stored on that device.

Keep the old data

Do not remove Nodify Calendar or erase the old computer until you are sure you no longer need its local calendar data.

The automatic backups described in Backup and restore remain on the old computer and cannot currently be imported through the app on the new computer.

Current limitations

Version 0.2.2 does not provide cloud sync, database export and import, or an in-app migration process between computers.
