Schedules and slots properties

This page describes the properties of schedule slots and their repeat rules.

Slot properties

Each schedule slot has the following properties:

PropertyDescription
ScheduleThe schedule that uses the slot
StartThe date and time when the slot begins
EndThe date and time when the slot ends
TimezoneThe timezone used for the slot
RepeatAn optional rule that creates a series of slots

Schedule slots always have a start and end time. They cannot be created as all-day slots.

Repeat rules

A slot can occur once or repeat on a regular pattern.

The available repeat frequencies are:

  • daily;
  • weekly;
  • monthly;
  • yearly.

You can change the interval to create patterns such as every two weeks. Weekly rules can include one or more selected weekdays.

A repeat rule can continue without a fixed end, stop after a specified number of occurrences, or stop on a selected date.
