Account and cloud subscription FAQ
Find answers to common questions about cloud plans and connected devices.
Can I free a device slot if I no longer have access to that computer?
Yes. On another connected device, open Settings → Account, select the account, and remove the old computer from Devices.
You do not need access to the old computer. It signs out the next time it connects. See Manage connected devices.
Does removing another device discard changes that have not synced yet?
Removing a device does not upload its pending changes. If you still have access to that device, let it finish syncing before removing it.
If it is offline, it signs out the next time it connects, and the account’s cloud vaults stop syncing there until you sign in again.
Can I remove a connected device without an internet connection?
No. Calendar must connect to your account to remove a device and free its place.
The removed device signs out the next time it connects. See Manage connected devices.
What happens to my cloud vaults when my cloud plan ends?
Cloud vaults already available on your device remain readable, but you cannot edit them while cloud access is inactive.
You can restore cloud access or make an independent local copy to continue working without a cloud plan. See Cloud plans and billing and Manage vaults.
